FoWO

djDid you know WWOOF started in the UK in 1971? Since then it has spread far and wide; with more than 12,000 hosts in over 100 countries. National WWOOF groups have always networked on an informal level, but in 2013 for the first time ever they have come together to create a formal Federation of WWOOF Organisations (FoWO) www.wwoof.net , the official representative body for WWOOF at an international level and we are proud to be part of.

The WWOOF Hosts are those that carry out ecological and sustainable activities and accept the help of the volunteers or WWOOFERS that form part of the WWOOF PHILIPPINES association.

The WWOOF Host will take up the volunteers as such, and will establish a plan of activities, sharing the environment, providing the volunteers with board and lodging, teaching them during the volunteering period and finally acknowledging their free help.

WWOOF PHILIPPINES will get in touch periodically with the WWOOF farms in order to get to know the possible changes, needs and suggestions that will allow the association to carry out one of its more important objectives.
